Ready to be the calm in the classroom storm? We’re on the lookout for a caring, reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in South Gloucestershire this September.
Here, every student matters – and you’ll play a key part in helping young people with additional needs feel understood, supported, and ready to learn. You’ll work alongside a supportive team, providing 1:1 or small group help, and making each day that bit smoother for everyone.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students with a range of needs – from autism to social, emotional, and mental health challenges

Helping create an inclusive, structured classroom environment

Working closely with teaching staff, parents, and specialists

Bringing patience, positivity, and a good sense of humour to every day!
About you:

Experience supporting young people with SEND (in school, youth work, care, or similar – we know great TAs come from many paths)

Calm, kind, and able to build strong relationships

Keen to learn and develop – this school loves to upskill its support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
