We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in the Grays area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in special educational needs who wants to make a meaningful difference every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

One-to-one support – Work closely with pupils with SEND to help them access learning and feel included in the classroom.

Collaborative planning – Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning strategies and individual education plans.

Behaviour support – Use positive behaviour management strategies to de-escalate and redirect when needed.

Communication – Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to track progress and share updates.

Positive reinforcement – Foster a nurturing environment that promotes independence, confidence, and academic growth.
What We’re Looking For:

Right to work in the UK

Valid DBS (or willingness to apply)

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
