The Role:
We are looking for caring and motivated individuals—particularly those with healthcare or social care experience—who are eager to transition into education as SEN Teaching Assistants. Your skills in areas such as personal care, medication support, and mobility assistance will be invaluable in helping children with a variety of additional needs succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one or small group support tailored to each pupil’s needs

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement personalised learning and care plans

Assist pupils with daily tasks including mobility, feeding, and personal care (training provided)

Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
Who We're Seeking:

Professionals from healthcare or social care sectors, including HCAs, nurses, or care workers

Experienced Teaching Assistants or Graduate TAs with SEND knowledge or experience

Candidates with backgrounds in performing arts or similar fields interested in SEND education

Individuals with excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
