A vibrant and nurturing SEN school in East London is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.

You’ll be working closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide tailored, person-centred support that helps each child flourish—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (either in schools or similar settings)

  • A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach

  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN (school-based or equivalent)

  • A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one

  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
