About the Role:
Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in schools across Croydon. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom and helping every child reach their potential.
Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties).

Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.

Support with classroom behaviour management and encourage positive engagement.

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential).

Patient, resilient, and nurturing attitude.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Right to work in the UK.

DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
