Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring and recording student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant SEN qualification or experience
- DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
Education:
Secondary education required, additional SEN qualifications preferred
Experience:
Prior experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support SEN students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Training in specific SEN areas such as Autism or ADHD
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting
- Full-time hours as per school timetable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
