Job Duties:
- Supporting the teacher in implementing individual education plans for students with special educational needs
- Assisting with the personal care and hygiene needs of students as required
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Working one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts
- Participating in meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals to discuss student progress
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant SEN qualification or experience
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and how to support them
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, providing support to students with special educational needs. The work may involve assisting with personal care tasks and working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
