About the Role:
Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a primary or secondary school setting in Lambeth. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils’ educational journeys by providing 1:1 and small group support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEND needs (including Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH)

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans

  • Help create a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

  • Provide personal care support where needed (training provided)

  • Promote independence, confidence and emotional well-being among students

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in education, care, or community settings)

  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient manner

  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and safeguarding requirements

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
