About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs in schools across Merton. You will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.).

  • Assist teachers and SENCOs with implementing individual education plans.

  • Adapt learning resources to meet the needs of each pupil.

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Right to Work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
