Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Merton

About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs in schools across Merton. You will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.).

Assist teachers and SENCOs with implementing individual education plans.

Adapt learning resources to meet the needs of each pupil.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Right to Work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
