About the Role
Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across schools in Croydon. This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities

Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs

Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning requirements

Support pupils with personal development, social skills, and emotional regulation

Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements
-
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational or care setting

Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
-
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
