We’re looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bradford, supporting pupils with autism and complex learning difficulties. This isn’t just a classroom role—it’s about building trust, creating calm, and helping children feel safe enough to learn and grow.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups within a specialist SEN provision

  • Helping children develop routines, independence and communication skills

  • Using patience and creativity to make learning accessible and enjoyable

  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and therapists to provide consistent, holistic support

  • Creating a safe, structured space where every child can thrive

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (autism experience a bonus!)

  • A calm, positive and resilient personality

  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be a key part of the team around each child

  • Someone who celebrates the small wins and brings warmth to every interaction
