An inspiring specialist school in Ealing is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering creative, engaging, and adapted lessons tailored to learners with complex physical, medical, and sensory needs

  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and care across all aspects of learning

  • Creating a safe, stimulating environment where pupils feel secure and celebrated

  • Using tools like sensory stories, switches, AAC, and other assistive tech to support communication and engagement

  • Assessing progress in personalised ways and planning next steps that truly matter

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching pupils with PMLD or complex SEN needs

  • Warm, thoughtful, and confident adapting the curriculum to suit individual learning profiles

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—this is a team-first school!

  • A creative thinker who brings joy and structure into every lesson

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting learners with complex needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
