Location: South Tyneside, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £130–£190 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in South Tyneside that supports children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. They’re looking for a committed and creative SEND Teacher to join their team this September.

Your role will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families

Supporting emotional wellbeing and personal development alongside academic learning

Working closely with TAs, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver joined-up support
What we’re looking for:

QTS or QTLS (SEND experience desirable but not essential)

A calm, flexible approach with the ability to adapt lessons to meet pupils’ needs

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A genuine belief in every child’s potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
