We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Leeds that’s looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team this September. If you’ve got a calm approach and a big heart for helping young people thrive—you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD)

Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups

Helping students access the curriculum and build confidence

Using tailored strategies to support communication, focus, and social interaction

Working closely with the SENCO and wider team to deliver consistent support
You’ll be great if you have:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN
-
A calm, adaptable, and positive approach
-
Great listening and communication skills
-
A real passion for inclusion and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
