About the Role:

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist with Protocol Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse learning needs of students within mainstream primary schools in Enfield.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personalized Support: Independently manage a caseload of students with special educational needs, delivering tailored interventions to address their unique learning requirements.

  2. Inclusive Learning Environments: Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring that all students feel valued and included.

  3. Collaborative Interventions: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for students with SEN.

  4. Advocacy and Representation: Act as the SEN representative in multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring the holistic support of students with special needs.

  5. School Vision Integration: Embrace and promote the school's values and vision, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in Special Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a SEN Specialist, particularly within a mainstream primary school setting.
  • Proficiency in relevant assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
