We’re working with a welcoming secondary SEN school that specialises in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). They’re on the lookout for a committed and creative teacher who can bring calm, structure, and inspiration into the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing

Teaching across KS3 and KS4 with tailored, accessible lessons

Creating a safe, structured environment that supports emotional wellbeing

Using de-escalation strategies and trauma-informed practice

Working closely with a skilled SEN team, parents, and outside agencies

Celebrating every win—big or small—because progress looks different for every pupil
What We’re Looking For

UK QTS (or equivalent) and experience in mainstream or specialist settings
-
A resilient, positive approach and strong behaviour management skills
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs (PRU or alternative provision experience a plus)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
