Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Post-16 College Support
Location: Walthamstow, East London
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am–5pm)

We’re working with a fantastic college in Walthamstow that supports students aged 16+ with a range of additional needs—and they’re on the lookout for a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students with EHCPs to access learning and college life
- Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to adapt lessons
- Helping build confidence, independence, and routine
- Bringing your top-tier safeguarding knowledge to every interaction
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who “gets” EHCPs and how they shape support
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Calm, reliable, and positive—you’re the steady presence in the room
- Previous experience with post-16 or complex SEN settings? Even better

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
