SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Make a Real Difference

We’re working with a brilliant SEN school in Greenwich that’s looking for a compassionate, calm, and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism. This is a long-term role with real impact and the chance to become a trusted, steady presence in the pupil’s learning journey.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Working 1:1 with a pupil with autism, supporting them throughout the school day
  • Creating a safe, predictable, and positive learning environment
  • Teaming up with the SENCO and therapists to keep things on track
  • Using sensory strategies to help the pupil access their learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who’s patient, positive, and genuinely passionate about supporting SEN pupils
  • Experience working with children or adults with SEND (bonus if you’ve worked 1:1)
  • Great communication skills and a calm, reassuring presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
