We’re supporting a fantastic school in Gateshead that’s looking for a compassionate and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.
The role includes:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning in a supportive environment

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff team

Assisting with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and promoting positive engagement

Helping to create a calm, safe space where every pupil can thrive
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people with SEND (especially autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs)

Brings a patient, nurturing approach and strong communication skills
-
Is adaptable, proactive, and ready to make a positive impact every day

Ideally has Team Teach or Thrive training (but we can help with that if needed!)
