Salary: £89–£108 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

They’re looking for a resilient, compassionate Teaching Assistant who can help students feel safe, supported, and seen—often for the first time.

You’ll be:

Supporting pupils aged 11–16 inside and outside the classroom

Helping students manage their emotions and rebuild trust

Part of a skilled team working to re-engage pupils in learning

Contributing to vocational learning, life skills, and academic support
You’ll need:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs

A calm, consistent and non-judgemental approach
-
Confidence with behaviour management and de-escalation

The ability to build strong, respectful relationships

A belief that every young person deserves a fresh start

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
