Secondary Teaching Assistant

Full Time

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ learning across secondary sector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to support pupil learning and progress.
  • Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN support where required.
  • Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Prepare resources and help deliver engaging learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate pupils.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils’ education and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
