Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if appropriate)
- Plan to engage and differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment
- Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupils’ progress
- Participate fully in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities
✅ Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for your subject area
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices
- Willingness to participate in CPD and continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Experience teaching to GCSE level or beyond
- Familiarity with UK national curriculum and current educational trends
- ECTs welcome with full induction and mentoring provided
