We’re on the lookout for caring, patient and proactive people to join local secondary schools as Support Assistants. This is your chance to work alongside teachers, guide pupils through lessons and help them stay on track. This role would be perfect for graduates, career changers, or anyone who wants to build experience working with young people before jumping into teaching or youth work.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils in class, small groups or 1:1

Helping students focus, learn and feel confident

Working with teachers to create a positive environment

Managing behaviour calmly and positively

Any previous school, youth work or SEN experience is a plus – but not essential!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
