Job Duties:
The Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant will provide support to students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting. Duties include assisting with classroom activities, supporting individual students with their learning and development, implementing strategies to help students achieve their educational goals, and collaborating with teaching staff and parents to ensure the overall well-being and progress of students with SEN.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with special educational needs
Education:
Relevant education and training in special education needs or related field
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN support
- Certification in relevant teaching assistant courses

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
