Your Role in the Classroom

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons—plans provided or personalised to your style

  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and Key Stage 5 where required

  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere with clear and consistent behaviour expectations

  • Monitor student wellbeing and escalate any safeguarding concerns promptly

  • Complete essential admin tasks such as attendance registers and feedback notes to ensure a smooth transition for class teachers

  • Work closely with staff and leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning space

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)—including newly qualified teachers

  • A solid grasp of your subject and a sound knowledge of the secondary curriculum

  • Professional and effective classroom behaviour strategies

  • A proactive understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the confidence to act when needed

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to new school environments and uphold their expectations
