Protocol Education are looking for creative, confident, and compassionate people to join secondary schools as Drama Youth Workers. You’ll work closely with pupils who need a bit more encouragement, using the drama techniques you know well to build trust, boost confidence, and support learning.

This role is perfect if you're a TA with a performing arts background, or someone who's worked in theatre, youth work, or creative education.

Your day-to-day could include:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

  • Using drama-based activities to build engagement

  • Helping pupils express themselves, manage emotions, and grow in confidence

  • Assisting in lessons or leading drama interventions

 

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with young people (doesn't have to be in a school)

  • Background in theatre, drama, performing arts, or creative youth work

  • Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach

  • Ability to think and act on your feet
