We are currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Telford, Shropshire, that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher for the new academic year starting in September 2025.

About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be delivering well-structured and stimulating Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential). You'll work within a supportive department, helping students develop both subject knowledge and confidence. Your contribution to the wider school life and commitment to student development will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Support the academic progress of all learners, providing tailored guidance and feedback

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues to support department goals and share best practices

Contribute to extracurricular science initiatives and enrichment opportunities
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for science education

Excellent communication skills and classroom management ability

A commitment to supporting the wellbeing and academic growth of all student
