General Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4) – Gateshead
Protocol Education are working with a secondary school in Gateshead to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025 until at least December 2025, with the possibility of extension or a permanent appointment thereafter.
About the role:
You will teach General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in science. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support all learners to achieve their potential and make strong progress towards their GCSE outcomes.
The successful candidate will:

Hold QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Science up to GCSE level

Be committed to raising aspirations and standards for all learners

Be confident in behaviour management and adapting delivery to meet student needs

Demonstrate a reflective and proactive approach to teaching and professional development
