The Role:
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Newcastle is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role, teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with scope to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at Key Stage 4 or 5, depending on your expertise.
You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced science faculty with a strong reputation for engaging teaching, excellent practical delivery, and strong academic outcomes. The successful candidate will deliver stimulating and structured lessons that encourage scientific thinking and inquiry-based learning.

Candidate Requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

A subject specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is desirable

Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills
