We’re looking for a brilliant Science Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Barnsley. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a confident ECT, this school offers the kind of environment where your subject knowledge and classroom energy will thrive.

What the role involves:

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 a bonus, but not essential)

  • Delivering engaging lessons that make atoms, ecosystems, and circuits come alive

  • Tracking pupil progress and adapting your approach to suit every learner

  • Contributing to a supportive department that loves sharing resources and ideas

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent overseas qualifications)

  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry or Physics

  • A positive presence in the classroom and high expectations for students

  • Someone who loves their subject and can bring lessons to life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
