We are working alongside a co-ed secondary school based in Dagenham who are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher to join them Sept 2023; the school are open to both full time and part time applicants. The School are looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join their supportive and motivated department and wider school team. The school is friendly and are seeking a Science Teacher to join their Science Department and teach across KS3-KS4, expeirence of teaching up to KS5 is advantageous however not essential.

About the role:

The role will be mainly working across KS4, assuming responsibility for all, including examination groups. Determination and commitment are key to success within this role in addition to exceptional organisation skills and a true passion for the subject. 

Your role as a Science Teacher will be to effectively communicate and teach students in the many different learning methods to ensure all students are efficiently taught. The successful Science Teacher will be expected to deliver exceptional inspiring lessons and be able to ensure that students studying Science are appropriately challenged, supported, and pushed to exceed their potential. A dynamic Science Teacher that works collaboratively with the Director of Science and Deputy Subject Leader to enthuse students about Science within the department to push for the most outstanding educational experiences for students.

About you:

  • QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of Teaching Science up to KS4, experience of teaching up to KS5 is desirable however, not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and reading comprehension.
  • Passion for Teaching & Student educational development
