Protocol Education is partnering with a secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Reprographics Assistant to provide efficient reprographics and learning resource services to staff and students on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Reprographics Assistant, you will manage the production and delivery of exam papers, booklets, leaflets, and other printed materials as requested by staff. You’ll ensure all reprographics equipment is maintained and operational, manage stock levels, and support general administrative duties within the school office, including reception cover as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain reprographics equipment such as copiers, scanners, and printers

  • Manage print orders and production timelines efficiently

  • Ensure print quality and troubleshoot equipment issues

  • Perform finishing tasks including trimming, binding, and laminating

  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic repairs

  • Monitor and order supplies, managing costs effectively

  • Keep accurate records of completed jobs and orders

  • Support the PA/Office Manager with general administrative tasks such as letter creation, parent communications, ordering supplies, and filing

  • Provide reception cover when required

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines relating to equipment and processes

  • Loading paper and materials into machines

  • Programming printing jobs

  • Resolving paper jams and errors

  • Cutting, folding, and binding printed documents

  • Cleaning and maintaining reprographics equipment

  • Managing stationery and equipment stock levels

Work Environment
