A friendly, values-driven secondary school in Wakefield is on the lookout for a passionate Religious Studies Teacher to join their team this September. The school encourages critical thinking, open dialogue, and respect—and they want someone who can bring RS to life in a way that sticks with students long after the bell rings.
From exploring belief systems to tackling ethical dilemmas, you’ll help students make sense of the world and their place in it.

What you’ll be doing:
• Teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging thoughtful discussion and respectful debate
• Building cultural understanding and critical thinking
• Creating a classroom culture that’s inclusive, curious, and kind
You’ll need:
• UK QTS or a recognised secondary teaching qualification
• Experience teaching RS at KS3 and ideally KS4
• A warm, confident teaching style and a genuine passion for the subject
• A thoughtful, inclusive approach that supports all learners
