We’re looking for a reflective, inspiring, and knowledgeable Religious Education Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds, dedicated to nurturing open-minded, curious, and respectful learners.


Your Role Will Involve:

  • Delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Encouraging respectful dialogue on diverse religious and non-religious worldviews

  • Planning creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Creating a safe and open classroom environment for meaningful discussions

  • Contributing to school ethos, spiritual development, and enrichment activities

  • Collaborating with a passionate and supportive Humanities team


You Should Have:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
✅ Experience teaching RE in a UK secondary school setting
✅ Strong communication and critical thinking skills
✅ A commitment to inclusion and interfaith understanding
✅ Enthusiasm for both academic rigour and pastoral care
