Protocol Education are working in partnership with an inclusive secondary school based in Newham who are recruiting for a Teacher of Religious Education to join them on a full-time basis. The school is focused on supporting staff and students to reach and surpass their full potentials whilst having an overall positive impact on those who both work and learn in the facility.

About the role:

The successful RE Teacher must be ambitious, flexible and developing and have an up-to-date knowledge of the subject curriculum and assessment requirements for Religious Education. The successful RE Teacher will be passionate about Religious Studies and the importance the subject has a wider culture and ethos of the academy

About you:

  • QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experienced of Teaching Religious Education up to KS4, experience of teaching up to KS5 is desirable however, not essential.
  • Proficient communication skills: verbal, written and reading comprehension.
  • Passion for Teaching & Student educational development
  • Open to Continuous Professional Development
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Religious Education curricula and assessment requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
