About The Role:

  • Plan, create, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for Reception students.
  • Follow and adapt the school’s curriculum to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring lessons are tailored to individual abilities and developmental stages.
  • Foster a love of learning through play-based activities, sensory exploration, and hands-on experiences.
  • Ensure that all learning objectives are met, providing timely and constructive feedback to support children's growth and development.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for all students.

About You:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experienced or newly qualified in teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally in a Reception class.
  • Strong lesson planning and organisational skills, with the ability to design creative and engaging play-based learning experiences.
  • Solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to differentiate activities to meet diverse developmental needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
