Protocol Education is a trusted education agency, supporting primary schools across Greater Manchester with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term teaching needs.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 specialist teachers to join our team and work across a variety of local schools.

The Role

As a supply teacher with Protocol Education, you’ll enjoy a highly rewarding role with the flexibility to choose when and where you work. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities that can be tailored to fit your lifestyle.

You’ll gain valuable experience in a range of school settings—from small village primaries to large multi-form entry schools. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and broaden your experience.

There is no minimum commitment—perfect if you’re balancing childcare, studying, or other commitments.

What We’re Looking For

To register for Key Stage 1 teaching roles, you will need to:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have recent KS1 classroom experience that can be referenced

  • Be approachable, adaptable, and confident in embracing new environments

  • Provide Right to Work and valid ID documentation

  • Supply two years of references (employment or study)

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
