£33,075 - £43,607 per annum
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons to students
- Create and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Health and Social Care
- Degree in Health and Social Care or related field
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and teaching standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Degree in Health and Social Care or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching Health and Social Care subjects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of health and social care principles and practises
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or Health and Social Care
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term dates. Some additional hours may be required for lesson planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
