Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification in English
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the relevant level
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or English
  • Experience in teaching English as a second language
  • Additional subject specialism within English Language or Literature

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
