Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to a diverse group of students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular tests and assignments
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language and literature

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching English at the secondary or higher education level
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for English
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or English
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:
