Job Title: Pupil Referral Unit Support Worker

Job Duties:
As a Pupil Referral Unit Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students who have been excluded from mainstream education. This includes assisting with educational activities, managing behaviour, and promoting positive social interactions.
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications, are required. A valid DBS check is essential for this role.
Education:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field, such as Education or Social Work, is required.
Experience:
Prior experience working with vulnerable young people or in a similar educational setting is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a passion for supporting the educational needs of students are essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant training in behaviour management would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
