Teaching Assistant - Fenham, Newcastle
Location: Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Pay: £85–£100 per day (PAYE – no umbrella)

You’ll be:

A steady presence in the classroom, ready to support the teacher and pupils throughout the day

Confident around children, whether you’ve worked in schools, nurseries, youth work or sports clubs

On time, every time (they’ll love you for it!)

Happy to muck in, build rapport, and make yourself part of the team from day one
What the role involves:

Supporting learning in class across Key Stages
-
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged
-
Working one-to-one with children who need a bit of extra care
-
Pitching in with daily routines, prep and class admin

What you’ll need:

Experience working with children (in schools or similar settings)

A calm, proactive attitude and good communication skills
