Protocol Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shrewsbury to recruit a passionate and dedicated KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and creative lessons that align with the National Curriculum, while fostering a safe and stimulating classroom environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early-career teacher who is committed to supporting the learning and wellbeing of all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in KS1 or KS2

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting lessons to suit individual needs

  • Establish a positive classroom culture that encourages academic and personal development

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

  • Uphold school policies on safeguarding and behaviour management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 settings

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners

  • Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
