Position: Primary Teacher

Protocol Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shrewsbury to recruit a passionate and dedicated KS1/KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and creative lessons that align with the National Curriculum, while fostering a safe and stimulating classroom environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early-career teacher who is committed to supporting the learning and wellbeing of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in KS1 or KS2

Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting lessons to suit individual needs

Establish a positive classroom culture that encourages academic and personal development

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

Uphold school policies on safeguarding and behaviour management
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2 settings

Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners

Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
