Location: Merstham and surrounding areas, Surrey
Pay: £150 – £230 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Long-Term Cover, Full-Time

A welcoming primary school in Merstham is looking for a committed KS2 Teacher to step into a long-term cover role. It’s a fantastic chance for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher—or an enthusiastic ECT—to join a supportive school community and make a real impact on pupils’ learning.

The Role – KS2 Teacher
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum

  • Support pupils of all abilities to achieve progress

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Work closely with the SLT and year group team

  • Contribute to staff meetings, planning, and wider school life

What We’re Looking For – KS2 Teacher

  • A qualified KS2 Teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Someone who can adapt quickly, follow planning, and add value

  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love of teaching
