We’re working with a friendly, well-regarded primary school in Birmingham that’s looking for a confident and creative KS1 teacher to join their team in September. What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching a bright and enthusiastic Year 1 or Year 2 class (dependent on your experience and preference)
- Using your creativity to plan engaging, imaginative lessons that build on prior knowledge and keep little minds switched on

- Using formative and summative assessment strategies to track progress and tailor your teaching
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development as well as their academic growth
- Communicating with parents and carers to celebrate progress and work through challenges together
- Contributing to school life through clubs, assemblies, trips or whatever you bring to the table
Development Opportunities:
- Weekly CPD sessions and in-house training
- Dedicated ECT mentoring (if you’re early in your career)
- Potential for subject leadership and curriculum development in the future
- Regular check-ins with a supportive SLT who genuinely want you to thrive
Who this role suits:
- Early Career Teachers looking for strong induction support
- Experienced KS1 teachers wanting a new challenge in a positive, well-run school
