Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Shrewsbury? We are currently partnering with a range of well-established primary schools across the area who are in need of enthusiastic and dependable supply teachers to provide classroom cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Whether you're seeking a full-time schedule or just a few days a week, supply teaching offers the chance to gain varied experience, maintain work-life balance, and positively influence young learners, without the added responsibilities of lesson planning or marking.

As a supply teacher, you will enter classrooms with lessons already planned, helping maintain consistency in teaching and learning, and fostering a positive and structured environment for pupils.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK

  • Have a degree or PGCE with classroom experience in UK primary settings

  • Are confident delivering lessons across Early Years, KS1, and/or KS2

  • Possess strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills

  • Are quick to adjust to different school environments and can work well with existing staff teams

  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
