Job Title: KS1 Primary Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: North West London
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Start Date: September 2025
Small school, big heart—and one lovely KS1 class waiting for you
We’re working with a brilliant little primary school in North West London that’s full of character, kindness, and community spirit. Their much-loved Year 1 teacher is off on maternity leave from September, and they’re looking for someone special to step in and continue the great work.
This is a full-time role in a settled, well-supported Key Stage 1 class. You’ll be joining a close-knit team where planning is shared, leadership is approachable, and creativity is encouraged. Think: phonics parties, mini-beast hunts, and glitter glue Fridays.
What you’ll get:
-
A warm, welcoming school with a real “family” feel
-
Dedicated PPA time and collaborative planning support
-
An experienced TA in class every morning
-
A Headteacher who actually gets teaching
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Has UK QTS and experience teaching in KS1
-
Can build strong routines and even stronger relationships
-
Brings creativity, patience, and a good stash of stickers
-
Wants to be part of a school that values joy, not just data
