Seeking a dedicated and passionate primary school teacher for a vibrant and supportive primary school in Hampstead. Positions available that cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject.
  • Experience working with primary school children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

Previous experience working with primary school children is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Effective use of technology in teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience in special educational needs (SEN) teaching.
  • Participation in continuous professional development.

Working Conditions:

Primary school teachers work in school settings, following the academic calendar with weekends and holidays off. The role may involve additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities and parent-teacher meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
