Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents and school management
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes students' academic and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience working with primary school children
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Specialist training in a specific subject area
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular school hours
- Work may involve standing for extended periods and occasional outdoor activities
