PE Cover Teacher – Swindon

We’re working with a brilliant secondary school in Swindon that’s on the lookout for a reliable, energetic PE cover specialist. You’ll lead PE lessons, cover across subjects when needed, and be that steady presence students know they can count on.
This role is ideal for a qualified PE teacher, an ECT with strong behaviour management, or an experienced sports coach with teaching experience and the right classroom skills.
The role includes:

Delivering PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Stepping in for general cover across other subjects when needed

Supporting the wider teaching team and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment

Leading by example, modelling teamwork, discipline, and positivity
You’ll need:

A background in PE, QTS, a sports degree, or coaching experience with young people

Strong classroom management and flexibility

A confident, proactive approach (you won’t always be covering sport!)

A passion for engaging teenagers and helping them succeed in and out of class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
